Rossland Reads was born in a library board meeting at the Rossland Public Library in, yes, Rossland, BC.
We wanted to highlight the benefits of having a town library and create a place to share hidden gems in the world of Canadian fiction. While none of us have the voice of Jian Gomeshi, we hope to entertain readers and listeners.
Book titles are selected in the spring and the titles are announced in early June. Readers can read the titles along with our panelists and here what they have to say in the fall of that year. We will post audio files of the debates each week for four weeks.
And because nothing is anything without a celebratory party we will likely have one of those as well. Keep reading to find out more as we roll along.
Love this Rossland Reads event. Greta contribution to the social fabric and cultural life of our community. Nice! Thanks Rossland Library.
Thanks Kelvin – we are excited about this new literary venture in Rossland as well.
Keep tuned here for new updates…
